Personal Computer Interface Unit

Computer telephony integration (CTI) gives users the convenience of controlling complex telephone functions like conference calling and voice mail directly from their personal computer. Most CTI products however, were developed for LANs, rather than stand-alone PCs. With the introduction of the PC Interface Unit (PCIU), Comdial makes CTI available to individual users without the need for a LAN.

The PCIU is literally a snap to install. Just connect the PCIU between the serial port of your PC and your wall jack, plug in a Comdial digital telephone, and load the PCIU software. That's all it takes.

The PCIU is fully compatible with Microsoft's TAPI standard, so applications like Personal Information Managers can be used to control telephone functions. And to make sure you make immediate gains in productivity, Comdial includes our popular wideopen.call or Visual Call Manager Applications.

A complete CTI application intended for the busiest desktops. With three completely integrated windows that control call activity, it lets individuals manage calls more efficiently. Features include a friendly, graphical user interface, call and note logging, screen pops, and database integration.
