HSCA DOCUMENT 180-10096-10021 STATE OF LOUISIANA PARISH OF ORLEANS AFFIDAVIT BEFORE ME, the undersigned authority; Notary Public, duly commissioned and qualified in and for the Parish of Orleans, State of Louisiana, personaly came and appeared: MRS. JUNE A. ROLFE who, after being first duly sworn, did depose and say that: Around 1960 or 1961 (in order to get an approximate date I will have to check some rent receipts,) I saw CLAY SHAW in a light-colored Thunderbird with the top down in the French Quarter of New Orleans. There were two young men in the front seat. SHAW was in the middle and had an arm around each of them. In the rear I recognized DAVID FERRIE whom I had seen at the old airport (New Orleans Lakefront Airport) and who on several occasions had been pointed out to me being an instructor for the Civil Air Patrol. Question by L. Ivon: Is there any doubt in your mind that the man in the front seat with his arms around the two boys was CLAY SHAW? Answer by Mrs. Rolfe: No question whatsoever in my mind as I had been in CLAY SHAW's office several times and had interviewed him on many occasions. Question by L. Ivon: Is there any doubt in your mind that the man sitting alone in the back seat was DAVID FERRIE?
