For six years Lon Burnam has misrepresented Fort Worth and District 90 in the Texas House of Representatives. During that time, Mr. Burnam has sought to make juvenile murderers immune to capital punishment, supported living wage laws that are bad for businesses and working families, and taken part in one liberal crusade after another—defending Castro's Cuba and calling President Bush a "war criminal."
Isn't it time we had a respresentative in Austin who stands for Texas values, not liberal special interests? Isn't it time we had a representative who will fight for Governor Perry's agenda in the Texas House isntead of obstructing it? Isn't it time we elected someone who can affect real change and encourage fiscal responsibility, someone will oppose a state income tax?
I think six years of Lon Burnam is enough. Last year I lost in a narrow race for his seat in the Texas House of Representatives. I'm disappointed but determined to win in 2004. But I need your help to succeed.
