- Christianity - My interest in the history and
exegesis of contemporary Christianity stems from the
centrality of faith to my life, as well as my love of
history. In feeding that interest I've found myself at
odds with both prevailing schools of thought, the so-called
"Evangelicals" and "Critics." This represents my
attempt at a fusionism of the two:
- Global War on Terror - My thoughts and a
bibliography of online and offline resources on the
philosophical, military, social, economic and political
underpinnings of the first war of the twenty-first century.
- Law and Legal Philosophy - How do we organize a
just society? Where do we derive our rights? Of
what is our Constitution made? These questions and
others are worth thinking about. Unfortunately,
today's educational and media institutions do a lousy job of
educating Americans about such fundamental issues.
- Military History and Strategy -
As Plato once wrote, "Only
the dead have seen the end of war." Movies like
"Saving Private Ryan" and "We Were Soldiers" have
popularized military history for the masses. This site
serves as an online repository of information about
conflicts past and present.
