FIREWORKS IN ENGLAND  2 By Larry Crump

My good friend John F. Bennett, Editor/Publisher of "Fireworks" Magazine in Bexhill-on-Sea, England with large display cakes available in England. Besides producing "Fireworks", John also fires displays, collects firework dummies and enjoys an annual back yard fireworks party. Our trips to England have been wonderful largely because of great help from John and his family.

One of the better honors of my life has been to meet Reverend Ronald Lancaster, MBE, and visit his Kimbolton Fireworks factory twice. I took this photo of Ron with some rockets used in rocket flights in their displays. This size rocket is available for consumer purchase also. Rev. Lancaster is the author of a world-recognized book about fireworks making.
Another display case of consumer fireworks for sale, found in Adams of Rye Ltd., as are the two photos below.

Several sizes of shell-head rockets ready for sale to delight some lucky English residents.
Various sizes of fireworks assortment packs grace this display case. Candy stores and news agents seem to be popular fireworks retailers. I also bought fireworks in a garden center.
