TEXAS COUNTRY CHRISTMAS DISPLAY

Yes, it WAS Atlas Enterprises of Fort Worth, Texas that fired that marvelous firework display for the Texas Country Christmas festival at The Ballpark in Arlington, Texas, November 24, 2001.

What does it take to put on a large display like this?

Lots of comets and mines.
Lots of repeating display cakes and large Roman candles.
Lots of shells, almost a thousand in this photo alone.
Larger shells fired from two trailers.
Even larger shells fired from this trailer.
Some photos from one of the most enjoyable shows I have seen in many years. It's impossible to do justice to a display like this with just photos, though.
A new beginning became the beginning of the end. It was a very special night.
The two minute finale filled the sky with hundreds of shells. This photo was what a single half-second camera exposure contained.
