The Pregnancy Help Center is an established community service organization in the greater Wichita Falls area. The center is a nonprofit organization. We are committed to providing women and men with accurate, up-to-date information in order to make wise decisions through consultation, material provisions, education, and restoration of relationships.

Facing Difficult and Responsible Choices

If you are facing an unplanned pregnancy you may feel like you are being pulled in a million different directions. The pressure may be great to make a fast decision. Maybe you have already made up your mind and just want to know the facts. Whether you decide to parent, abort, or place your child for adoption none of the choices are easy.

There are consequences to these choices. It is very difficult to make a decision when you feel that your financial stability, education, career and relationships are in jeopardy.

Parenting is a commitment for life: it has many challenges and rewards.

However, on the other hand Adoption is just as hard if not harder. The idea of carrying a baby for nine long months and then put him or her in the hands of complete strangers will be very emotional but possible.

Abortion is known to be a quick way to solve all your problems and a sense of relief. But the experience can be traumatic, both emotionally and physically. In some cases ladies don't have any problems until years later.
