Questions and Answers
about choosing The Best Daycare

Example HR

Hello, Welcome to my home page. My name is Shirley Green. I owned and operated a licensed pre-school and daycare for more than ten years, with much success and very happy children. My daycare center was a very loving and happy place for any family that was looking for a place for their children to feel welcome and at home. I made sure that every child felt loved and special. My goal was to offer children a stable and secure beginning. I felt that there were far to many daycare's in which the children were just tended to, instead of being loved and cared for.

My Background
I am retired from the child care business now and spend my time writing children's' books. I have always intrigued children with the stories that I made up about them. I wrote many stories for the children at my daycare, using their names. One of these stories has been published. My book is titled A FAIRY GOOD EASTER HUNT, a story about an Easter party at the daycare when some fairies show up and join in the fun. The story shows that you can accept peoples differences and that it feels good to help others out when they need help. Children of all ages enjoy this book. I also have more books waiting to be published. To get your copy of  A FAIRY GOOD EASTER HUNT by Dorrance Publishing Co., call 1-800-788-7654,or write:Dorrance Publishing Co. THREE STEPS to finding the
BEST Daycare and Preschool for your child

  1) Does it seem like the care givers really love children?
a. Each child needs special attention.
        b. The care giver must realize that each child is different.
  2) Do the children seem happy and loved, like at home?
a.The child needs to feel like it is their second home.
b.The child needs to feel comfortable there, as if everything
            belongs to them.
                           3) Good times to drop in to check on the care that your child is receiving.
        a. Go at meal time and have breakfast or lunch with them.
If the children seem nervous, RED FLAG !!!
b. Nap time, see what the sleeping conditions are.
Do the children seem upset? RED FLAG !!!
Some children have trouble napping and may need to rest
while listening to music or a story.
Have the diapers been changed before their nap?
c. Outside play time.
Is there interaction between care givers and children?
If the care givers are just standing around with a bored
look. RED  FLAG !!!

Running a daycare and pre-school is the most rewarding work in the
world, if you love children. A person should never work in this area if
they can't understand the child's world.
